Baumschnitt
Jedes Jahr beginnt mit dem Baumschnitt auf unseren Streuobstwiesen.
Dadurch reift das Obst möglichst gleichmäßig und der Baum wird zum wachsen angeregt.
Wir bewirtschaften rund 4 Hektar Streuobst in Oberursel. Alles nicht gespritzt/gedüngt und alte Sorten auf Hochstamm!

Ernte
Wenn das Obst seine volle Reife erreicht hat, geht es ans Ernten.
Es kommt sogar vor, dass jeder Baum bis zu drei Mal geschüttelt wird, um nur das vollreife Obst zu bekommen.
Dabei ist zu beachten, dass nur Früchte genommen werden, die man selber essen würde. Nur wenn der Rohstoff TOP ist, kann man auch TOP Brände herstellen.
